Welcome to Chartwell Guildwood
Experience a brand-new retirement residence reflecting the heritage of Guildwood Village.
Chartwell Guildwood is a new retirement residence offering independent living services and a dedicated Memory Living neighbourhood. Our residence features architecture and design inspired by the beauty of nature, including elements of fine craftsmanship that celebrate the artistic tradition of Guildwood Village.
To further enhance your retirement living experience, many of our most popular programs, activities and social events take place on-site in our modern amenities, where you can pursue hobbies, socialize with friends, or simply sit back and relax. In addition to convenient household services, you can take advantage of a host of care services geared to helping you maintain your health and independence with the peace of mind you deserve.
Modern design rooted in nature
Incorporating elements of the arts and crafts movement that defines the original Guild, Chartwell Guildwood features design elements that celebrate creativity, yet are rooted in nature. Our organic-modern décor will make you feel at peace, thanks to an earthy palette inspired by the soft blues of Lake Ontario, pale greys of the Scarborough Bluffs, and contrasting hues of the forest in changing seasons. Natural materials like warm woods, clay pottery, homespun rattan and even an indoor living wall provide additional texture and colour. These details are balanced by modern touches like metallic light fixtures, geometric patterns, granite finishes, and show-stopping fireplaces that exhibit the style and craftsmanship that went into the revitalization of Chartwell Guildwood.
Bespoke retirement living
At Chartwell Guildwood, we deliver on a retirement living experience that is personalized to your needs and preferences, providing you with the freedom to choose what in life you want support with. When you aren’t relaxing in your spacious suite, you may find yourself working with your hands at an art or gardening project in our multi-purpose room, seated comfortably in a banquette in our private dining room for a glass of wine with friends, or keeping active in our pool and fitness centre. Here, you have the flexibility to craft the lifestyle you’ve always wanted in your retirement years.
Flexible care and support
To ensure personalized support, our Care Assist program—an offering of à la carte wellness services and all-inclusive care packages—further provides you with the flexibility to add or remove services.
