Three delicious daily meals are part of our independent living package, providing you with the active and worry-free retirement you deserve. At Chartwell Avondale, we are a small, close-knit community of residents, families, and staff, making our intimate Queen Street East residence a vibrant and supportive place to call home. We love getting together whenever we wish, whether that’s a spontaneous chat over coffee at our bistro or on our rooftop patio during the nice weather, or at one of our many activities and outings. Consider joining us for a Tai Chi class, or a Rhythm ‘N’ Moves session, or engage your brain—and your sense of fun—in a lively game of Bridge or Scrabble. We have a club for walkers and gardeners and love our regular visits from a therapy dog. We offer on-site worship services, and hymn songs. We are always out and about, part of the bustling Leslieville community, riding our shuttle bus to shopping trips, the beach, and lunch at Tulia Osteria.
