What Are the Benefits of Care Assist?
Unlike receiving in-home care, which often requires making major modifications to your house and spending significantly more time, money, and effort for a decent level of comfort, Care Assist allows you or your loved one to comfortably age in place, while maintaining the best quality of life possible. We’re here to walk you through your options to find what will work best for you. Examples of services we offer include:
- Resident lifting and repositioning
- Medication management
- Oxygen management
- Assistance with morning or evening routine
- CPAP/BiPAP assistance
- Assistance with bathing or showering
- Injection service
- Continence care

Who Qualifies for Care Assist?
All Chartwell residents qualify for Care Assist, although there are circumstances where a resident's needs do not fit into our pre-existing packages. We want your living experience with us to be an exceptional one, where you always feel safe and supported. That’s why together with you and your family, we will collaborate to craft a customized plan of care that reflects your unique needs and goals:
Our Health & Wellness Manager will meet with you to conduct a review of your health needs, capabilities and interests, and understand your personal story.
Once we’ve established your plan of care, we’ll schedule health reviews to ensure we are adapting to your needs.
You have the flexibility to add or remove services at any time so you can comfortably age in place.
