At Chartwell McConnell, you can choose from a variety of studio, one- and two-bedroom layouts in our seniors’ apartment building, as well as studio and one-bedroom suites in our main residence. Should your needs change, with our continuum of care model, you can move almost seamlessly from an apartment to a more supportive suite in our main residence. We will work together to find you the right accommodations and services to fit your lifestyle and budget. 

Surrounded by trees and pretty gardens, and located next door to our main residence, our apartments are perfect for independent seniors or couples, featuring spacious studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts with full kitchens. Choose your suite with or without a private balcony or terrace.  

Meanwhile, our main residence building features several inviting studio and one-bedroom suites, most with convenient kitchenettes for preparing light meals.

What services are included in a retirement residence in Cornwall? 

Choosing the independent living option at our main residence means excellent value for one monthly rental fee. Beyond your bright and spacious suite equipped with a call-bell system for 24/7 emergency access to staff, grab bars and a convenient kitchenette with microwave, your rent includes a wealth of other services and amenities: three daily meals, weekly housekeeping, security system, utilities including heat, electricity, and individual thermostat so you control your temperature. Your fee also includes access to all on-site amenities and activities. Other optional services and amenities include linen service, newspaper delivery, outdoor parking, and hair salon services. 

At Chartwell McConnell’s senior apartments, you can enjoy the independent and active lifestyle you deserve, without the costly and overwhelming demands of home maintenance and related expenses. Your monthly rental fee includes your accessible, light-filled apartment with a full kitchen, in-suite laundry, balcony or terrace, weekly housekeeping, call-bell system for 24/7 emergency access to staff, security system, utilities including heat and electricity, telephone, Wi-fi and cable TV, and an individual thermostat so you control your home’s temperature. Residents also enjoy access to all on-site amenities and activities in their monthly rental fee. The apartments are pet friendly too! Optional services include dining packages, linen services, parking, salon services and mail delivery.
