Also known as Continuing Care Home Type B, this subsidized lifestyle option is coordinated and funded through Alberta Health Services—yet all care and support are delivered by the friendly and compassionate Chartwell staff you’ll come to know and trust.

Recently renovated, Chartwell Eau Claire is a continuum of care retirement community defined by friendly, caring staff and excellent on-site amenities. Offering Private Supportive Living, assisted living (Continuing Care Home Type B) and memory care (Continuing Care Home Type B Secure Space), the care residence is supported by a higher staff-to-resident ratio and health services that allow you or a loved one to live in comfort and with peace of mind. Uniquely, Chartwell Eau Claire does not have dedicated floors for our assisted living residents, but designated suites throughout the building.
Chartwell Fountains of Mission is a boutique-like retirement residence in an intimate, tucked away location within five minutes of downtown Calgary. We offer assisted living (Continuing Care Home Type B) services and accommodation for seniors who would benefit from significant care support with their daily routine or healthcare needs. We provide care services such as assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, vitals monitoring, an escort to meals and activities, and much more. Together, we will partner to build your individual care plan that meets your specific needs.

To qualify, Alberta Health Services conducts an assessment and authorizes and funds accommodations and care services for you or a loved one at one of our retirement residences.
For individuals who do not qualify for assisted living or memory care, but may qualify for Private Supportive Living services, this option is also assessed and coordinated by Alberta Health Services, who funds care service delivery; however, residents pay for their accommodations and additional services with Chartwell.
