Amenities and activities bring people together to learn, share, and laugh at Chartwell Meadowbrook. Your involvement is always up to you, depending on your time, interests, and needs. Join your friends and neighbours at impromptu events, or you can choose from a variety of organized events and workshops outlined on our scheduled activities calendar and run by our friendly and passionate staff in a variety of spaces around our residence that were designed for gathering.

Participate in our engaging activities

Thanks to a recent renovation, our retirement residence offers inviting and updated common areas where we host a variety of activities. Listen to live music by entertaining local performers, do some gardening in raised outdoor planters, or stay active in a senior-friendly fitness class. Meet your friends for euchre or bridge in the lounge or activity room, or challenge a neighbour to a game of billiards. Learn something new from a guest speaker or try your hand at an artistic or cultural pursuit. Come aboard our comfortable shuttle bus for an outing in and around Sudbury to visit a cultural venue, a sports event, a restaurant, or to do some shopping and sightseeing.

Chartwell Meadowbrook’s amenities make it easy for you to relax, learn, and connect! Our main floor and entrance acts as an energetic hub that’s home to a number of our amenities. With lovely natural light, views of evergreens from many windows, and cozy fireplaces and seating, we offer a truly welcoming and warm environment. Invite your visitor to join you for a drink in the bar/lounge, stop by the library to find a new book, catch a movie in the comfortable media room, or get a little pampering at the salon. Get some fresh air on the smooth pathway that curves around the residence. Want to invite your family to a catered dinner party? All you have to do is book the private dining room and choose a menu, and we’ll handle the details.
