We also offer a dedicated Memory Living neighbourhood on a separate floor for seniors living with dementia and Alzheimer’s. Here, we offer a person-centred approach to memory care where caring staff build trust and forge meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Seniors on our Memory Living floor also enjoy specialized life-enrichment activities and a family-style dining program, designed to help foster engagement, purpose, and contentment.

Chartwell Scarlett Heights’ Memory Living Program for seniors experiencing dementia or Alzheimer’s is unique in that it offers professional care that focuses on each resident’s individual story, personality, needs, and preferences, helping your loved one to enjoy each day in comfort and contentment.
Our Memory Living Program includes small resident-to-staff ratios, specialized life enrichment activities, access to safe outdoor spaces, interactive design elements, and a family-style dining program, where residents and staff eat together, helping to maintain and foster important social connections.
