No matter how Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias affect you or your family, the Alzheimer Society is here to help. We offer a variety of programs and services to help people living with dementia, care partners, their friends and their family members get the support and answers they need.
The Alzheimer Society offers many programs and services that can provide information, resources, education, support, and counseling that will help people living with dementia understand their diagnosis and live well.
Our social workers provide safe, confidential counselling where you can talk about your experience, learn about dementia, gain practical coping strategies to help cope with your own or a family member’s dementia, discover local programs and resources, stay informed on the latest research, and learn how to plan for the future.
Join a FREE dementia support group to learn from the experiences of others, share insights, or cope with the loss of a loved one. Our support groups are facilitated by registered social workers, offered during the daytime or evenings, and available to anyone touched by dementia.
Our programs and workshops address topics that will help you and your family live well with dementia and navigate the changes the disease brings.
