Located in the heart of Toronto’s vibrant Bloor West Village, Chartwell Grenadier is known for its welcoming atmosphere and strong sense of community. We’re excited to share that renovations are underway throughout our main floor and shared spaces, bringing renewed energy, comfort, and vibrancy to everyday life for both residents and their families. From refreshed common areas to beautifully reimagined gathering spaces, every detail is being thoughtfully updated to create a welcoming setting where residents can feel connected, inspired, and truly at home.

As part of these exciting enhancements, residents can look forward to a variety of new amenity spaces, including a bright art gallery for displaying resident work, a stylish bistro and bar, and inviting areas designed for spending meaningful time with friends and family. Renovations beginning in 2026 will also introduce a new Health and Wellness Centre, designed to offer a more comprehensive and respectful wellness experience. A dedicated treatment room will welcome visiting healthcare professionals and support expanded services such as foot care, audiology, and dental care.
These refreshed spaces will also evolve throughout the day to support vibrant social living—starting with a continental breakfast and coffee bar in the morning, to light grab-and-go lunch options, and later, a lively pub and wine bar in the evenings. Together, these enhancements will create inviting destinations for dining, relaxation, and meaningful interaction. Additionally, a newly designed dining room and private dining room will further enrich the experience, providing bright, comfortable settings for everyday meals and special occasions alike.
In the future, we plan to transform an existing tower into newly designed senior apartments that will offer independent seniors the perfect blend of style, comfort, and convenience. Each suite will feature a full kitchen with contemporary finishes, open-concept living areas, and thoughtful details that will make everyday living easy and enjoyable. With flexible service options available, residents will be able to choose the level of support that suits their lifestyle—allowing them to maintain their independence while enjoying the confidence and peace of mind that comes with being part of a connected and supportive community.
