Our LiveNow enrichment program was founded on that philosophy, and the activities and amenities at our residence reflect the LiveNow six dimensions of wellness—physical, social, emotional, intellectual, vocational, and spiritual. Our activities are also fun, engaging, and meaningful—and you might find yourself inspired to try something completely new and different.
Participate in our engaging activities
There’s something for everyone at Chartwell Pembroke Heritage. If you enjoy music, join our choir or attend a performance by a local fiddler. If you’re addicted to games, we have Scrabble, Euchre, Trivia, and more. We have your physical fitness covered with Rhythm ‘N’ Moves classes, and your brain fitness with FitMinds. There’s always Happy Hour, or a beer tasting if you enjoy a libation or two. When the nice weather comes, you’ll find the garden club working outside, and residents enjoying a strawberry social. The Chartwell shuttle is ready for shopping trips and outings to local attractions. While you could be busy every day, you can also choose to relax in your comfortable suite, or in any one of our quiet spaces.

The beauty of our extensive range of activities and get-togethers is that you can do them all without leaving the residence. You could find yourself enjoying a coffee in our bistro or country kitchen. Our library is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet read, and residents also appreciate the quiet contemplation—and worship services—in our onsite chapel. The lounge, with fireplace, is a popular place to relax, as is our TV room. The tuck shop is also a welcome convenience. Finally, glance outside and you’ll find people working in the garden, or just enjoying all of our lush green space, walking paths, patios, and shady gazebos.
