Our list of activities and amenities under the umbrella of Chartwell’s LiveNow Program reflects our residents’ desire to live enjoyable, fulfilling lives, offering a diverse range of experiences. All LiveNow activities promote the six dimensions of wellness—physical, social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and vocational, inspiring better health and well-being. Our activities are grounded by both our indoor and outdoor spaces: we feel enriched by our garden, potting room, and tranquil, leafy patio, and by our activity room and fitness studio. We are also strongly connected to our community through artistic, cultural, and volunteering pursuits.

At Chartwell Regency, our social and supportive lifestyle is personal, designed to empower every resident to focus their time and energy on the people and activities that matter to them most in retirement. What could that look like for you? The choices are many: perhaps that’s spending a quiet morning working in our potting room, or gently moving your body in a low-impact exercise class. Or it could be attending one of our armchair travel sessions, or indulging yourself at an ice cream social on the patio. How about listening to one of our many visiting performers to get your toe tapping and your spirits soaring, or booking our private car for some shopping or an appointment? We are always out and about, doing trips to the garden centre, enjoying one of our neighbourhood summer festivals, or lunch at a great fish ‘n chips shop. We also enjoy exploring our spiritual side in Java Music Club and hold regular worship services. Of course, there is always time to spend a relaxing afternoon in your spacious suite—you are always free to have as busy or as open a calendar as you wish.

The dedicated amenity spaces at Chartwell Regency provide an enriching backdrop to achieving the engaging and fulfilling life our residents enjoy. Since food always brings us together, our beautiful high-ceilinged dining room is a gathering hub for us with its views overlooking our leafy patio. When it’s time for a family celebration, our private dining room with optional catering service is available for booking. You’ll also find residents stopping by our bistro throughout the day to make coffee and enjoy a snack. The movie theatre is the place to laugh while enjoying a classic comedy, and you’ll find staying fit is easy in our exercise room. Residents use our activity room to create, our potting room to plant, and our bar/lounge to sit by the fire, gather around the piano, or sip on a cocktail or mocktail. And during the warmer months you’ll find us in the garden enjoying the blooms on the patio.
