You’ll have access to all of the activities and amenities and many of the services available at our main residence, which offers independent living with staff on-site 24/7. For independent living residents in our retirement residence, there’s all-inclusive packages of meals, activities, amenities, as well as optional personal care support.

Independent living in our main residence at Chartwell Riverside means an all-inclusive lifestyle, where you get to enjoy your retirement in a family neighbourhood that feels instantly like home. Independent living means freedom to enjoy your old friends, while welcoming new ones to share your favourite activities with. There are so many ways to do that, as we have a full schedule of engaging and fulfilling experiences and delicious dining. Or you can simply relax with other residents over a coffee in our bistro or meet for a walk on our surrounding paths. Without the worries of inclement weather, travelling, and traffic, you’ll love our built-in social life, but always to be enjoyed on your terms.
If and when you need more support, our Care Assist Program delivers optional and flexible à la carte and inclusive-package services too. We’ll meet with you to assess which of the customized personal care and wellness services you may benefit from. Need help with your morning or evening routine, bathing, or managing medications? Do you require physiotherapy or esthetician services? Our professional staff can help with these, and many other health and wellness support services.

Chartwell Riverside’s seniors’ townhomes are ideal for older adults looking to downsize and maintain the independent lifestyle they’re accustomed to. Each of our open-concept townhomes is more than 1,200 square feet and include a spacious bedroom and den, a full kitchen equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher, a well-appointed bathroom, in-suite laundry facilities, and 24-hour emergency response services.
Townhome residents also enjoy their own private driveway, garage, monthly housekeeping, and snow removal services during the winter months. As our townhomes are adjacent to our main retirement residence, you can also take advantage of the social experiences, fitness classes and amenities offered there, with daily activities and dinner service included in your rental package.
