We offer two lifestyles at our residence: independent living for active or semi-active seniors and Memory Living for older adults living with dementia. Our independent living residents are seeking an active, supportive, and social environment so they can enjoy a worry-free lifestyle while someone else takes care of meals, maintenance, repairs, and perhaps care needs. Meanwhile, our Memory Living neighbourhood caters to the unique needs of seniors living with dementia so your loved one can enjoy life with specialized support. We offer all of our residents easy access to trusted care partners, such as a podiatrist, physician, blood pressure clinic, and lab services.
Independent living
Care Services available
Chartwell Georgian Traditions offers flexible care and an on-site nurse for independent living residents who may need some care assistance to enjoy life. If you're looking for any personal and wellness support, you can take advantage of our Care Assist Program. You’ll select from our menu of care services to create your own personalized care plan. Maybe you’d like some medication supervision, or help with your morning or evening routine? You can change your plan at any time to ensure you’re getting the help you need. You’ll also have a call bell system in your suite to quickly alert our round-the-clock staff if you need them, and grab bars in the shower for added safety.
Independent living residents also enjoy three meals a day and weekly housekeeping services for worry-free retirement living.

Memory care
Located on a dedicated floor of Chartwell Georgian Traditions Retirement Residence, our Memory Living neighbourhood has been specially designed for seniors living with dementia. We offer a variety of suite types for both individuals and couples, as well as personalized care plans, specialized activities, family-style dining and a dedicated Memory Living Manager and Social Worker for the support of families.
We’re here to help you or a loved one understand your options and which service level will be the right fit for you. Our Health & Wellness Manager will also conduct an assessment before you move in to ensure you’re receiving the right level of care for your unique needs and preferences.
