Seniors’ apartments
Chartwell Balmoral’s seniors’ apartments are designed for older adults and couples seeking to downsize and lead an active, social, and independent lifestyle. Available in studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom-plus-den, and two-bedroom layouts, our apartments include full kitchens for cooking and in-suite laundry. Conveniences like housekeeping, access to modern on-site amenities and recreational activities, and à la carte meals at an additional fee are also available.

Independent living is the best option for active or semi-active seniors who would like to take the worry out of everyday living and may require some personal care or support.
At Chartwell Balmoral, you’ll have a Personal Emergency Response Pendant that helps ensures a quick response if you need it, as well as access to a nurse, our pharmacy services, and 24-hour health and wellness staff. You can also select any additional support you’d like from our Care Assist Program, such as monitoring of your vitals or help managing your prescribed medications. Our flexible care is wonderful way to create a just-right-for-you support plan that can be changed at any time.
Your suite also includes three delicious meals a day, weekly housekeeping and linen services, and access to all of our residence amenities and activity programming.

Assisted living
At Chartwell Balmoral, we offer a dedicated assisted living neighbourhood on the second floor of our retirement community for seniors who would benefit from daily care support to feel their best. Here, you or a loved one will have a Personal Emergency Response Pendant to provide you with quick access to our staff at any time. You’ll also receive personalized care according to your individual needs and preferences, such as assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication monitoring, and much more.
Weekly housekeeping and personal laundry are provided, and you can add linen service if you wish. We have a bright, relaxed dining room where you will enjoy three delicious daily meals, and a comfy visitors’ lounge. Our relaxing spa features an easy-access therapeutic tub, and you’re welcome to join us for our extensive social and recreational programming.
We’re here to help you or a loved one understand your options and which service level will be the right fit for you. Our Health & Wellness Manager will also conduct an assessment before you move in to ensure you’re receiving the right level of care for your unique needs and preferences.
