Chartwell Christopher Terrace is known throughout the Burlington community for its excellent reputation that includes a roster of engaging and fulfilling activities and amenities enjoyed by our residents. Chartwell’s signature LiveNow life enrichment program offers activities developed and implemented based on meeting the six dimensions of wellness—physical, social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and vocational. You’ll find our residents exercising their bodies, minds, and funny bones at our fitness classes, cards and brain games sessions, and musical afternoons. You are free to join in as much, or as little as you like, although many new residents find renewed fulfillment in a well-balanced social calendar, helping to give them a positive outlook and feeling of well-being.
Participate in our engaging activities
What’s your favourite pastime or activity? Why not try our Rhythm ‘N’ Moves exercise class, or how about a fun round of chair volleyball or basketball? Our walking group is always up for a stroll around our beautiful neighbourhood too. You could learn something new in our computer class, or at FitMinds. Find a new furry friend at one of our pet therapy visits, or give back by volunteering through our H.O.P.E program. We are a musical bunch, with regular music afternoons and visiting performers to entertain us. We enjoy onsite worship services, and the opportunity for spiritual reflection in our Java Music Club. You’ll find us ready for a shopping excursion or trip to one of the regional casinos, part of our enjoyable regular outings.

Beyond our life enrichment programs and enthusiastic staff, an important part of your experience at Chartwell Christopher Terrace is the range of onsite amenities: there are light-filled spaces dedicated to doing, relaxing, meeting, and eating. We have both a main dining room looking out onto our green space, and an intimate private dining room for family functions. Stop by our beautiful bistro, the perfect place to meet a friend for coffee and a snack. Our activities room, with its French doors, grand piano, and billiards table, is also a great spot to relax. Don’t forget our TV room, library, and wellness centre. Hidden from the street, our surrounding green space, pretty gardens, and courtyard add an immeasurable amount of pleasure to our residents’ lives.
