It is my pleasure as companion/caregiver, to accompany one of the Grenadier residents to the daily activities provided by the Lifestyle and Program Services staff. I have been impressed by and we both have enjoyed the many new programs introduced in the last year- Dancing with Parkinsons, Java Music Club, Harp Therapy with Martha, Music Salon with Andrew. These are just some of the activities we look forward to attending each week. The enthusiasm and commitment of the staff who organize and facilitate the activities add to our enjoyment.

I like the place very much. The food is great, the people and staff are pleasant and helpful. The place is clean, perfect looks like a hotel. Recreation is helpful and the Dining Room service is excellent. Thank you for Moments That Matter that were done for me. in

Our Mum moved here in Nov 2016. It's a very hard transition for anyone to shift their life from independent living, in their own apartment, to changing Province and sharing space with those who are already established with friends. All of the staff at Grenadier, without exception, are kind and generous. Never once has anyone been impatient or rude. The quality of food, entertainment, classes, humour and love is first class. There are too many people in this village of helpers to single out just one, but we are extremely grateful that our Mum is being cared for by such a loving supportive team

I have lived at the Grenadier Retirement Residence for six-and-a-half years. Even though my move here became necessary due to an inoperable injury, I have found this a lucky break, compared to my previous home in a noisy residential district where I had to fend for myself without much available help. The company of my fellow residents has played a huge part in this, not only in terms of community and camaraderie, but as far as the active social lifestyle is concerned, too. I have made new friends who have contributed in cognitive and emotional ways to my well being.

This is our mother's third year at the Grenadier. She is so happy and comfortable here. The PSW's and nursing staff are kind, caring and patient - they are cheerful and ensure that all her needs are met. The recreation staff are equally kind and friendly. They go out of their way to ensure that assistive care residents are included in as many of the activities as possible. This includes music, art, entertainment, exercise and more. Everyone we deal with are very receptive to our questions and comments. We are so pleased to have chosen the Grenadier for our mother's new home. Thanks to all at the Grenadier for being so welcoming to our family.
