When you first step into our residence, you’ll notice the vibrant energy of our residents and staff. You’ll soon find your favourite ways to stay engaged, learn something new, and form new friendships at Chartwell Grenadier. A great place to start is with our exciting, full activity calendar, with choices available from morning to night. Whether you like to stay active, creative, social, or curious, our enthusiastic staff organize a variety of optional activities, workshops, social events, entertainment, and outings for you to choose from.

Participate in our engaging activities

No matter what your interests are, you’ll find ways to keep active, involved, and fulfilled in our community. You may choose to attend one of our Sunday religious services or join our reading club to discuss the latest award-winner. You might want to join our Residents’ Council or enjoy our regular local entertainers who perform for us. Our FitMinds program is a great way to work out your brain, while our regularly scheduled exercise classes are a wonderful way to tone your muscles and strengthen your bones. Our garden would love your input if you’ve got a green thumb and like to connect with others who share your passion. Looking for a quieter day? Help yourself to a book from our well-stocked library. Join us for day trips on our shuttle bus when we head out to do some shopping or enjoy Toronto attractions together.

Chartwell Grenadier’s on-site amenities offer many ways for you to enjoy life while staying connected. Join us in our screening room for a movie or show, or have a cocktail or lemonade on our gorgeous patio. Our pub is the perfect spot for a cold beer or glass of wine with friends, complete with a billiards table.

Stay on top of your health with the on-site nurse in our wellness centre or visit our chapel at any time for some reflection and prayer. Check out a crafting session or artistic workshop taking place in our activity room. We even have a guest room you can book when you’re expecting overnight visitors.
