At Chartwell Scarlett Heights, you can choose from daily featured menus featuring fresh, nutritious ingredients that we source locally whenever possible. Our meals are inspired by the seasons, and you’ll never see a featured lunch or dinner repeated in a four-week period. How does a choice of beef vegetable barley soup or kale and cabbage salad to start sound, followed by an entrée of ham steak with grilled pineapple (served with scalloped potatoes, butternut squash and sugar snap peas), finishing up with warm banana bread pudding with custard sauce for dessert? Our goal is to offer meals that are a blend of residents’ favourites and new flavour combinations that you may have wanted to try but never have.

Beyond the daily featured entrées, our popular à la carte menu offers more choice. There you’ll find homemade entrées, soups, salads, sandwiches, and yummy desserts. We offer a continental breakfast every morning, and freshly prepared snacks during the day. You are always welcome to invite guests either in the main dining room, or in our private dining room, where you can host family dinners.

We have a superb food services team at Chartwell Scarlett Heights, including our Maître D’ and our serving staff. You’ll see our servers greeting and chatting with residents, getting to know them and their likes and dislikes. You’ll also meet our Food Services Manager, who is dedicated to always improving your dining experience by listening to and incorporating residents’ feedback. We strive to make every meal to your complete satisfaction.
