Our location on Wilson Street, southwest of Highway 34 and Aviation Parkway, means that it’s easy to access the many urban amenities nearby. Things to do in Vanier
Active seniors will find that there’s lots to do and see in Vanier, an historic hub of Franco-Ontarian culture. Just a few kilometers east of downtown Ottawa, it offers an array of interesting shops, eateries, and attractions. Be sure to take a look at the area’s many colourful outdoor murals or visit Le Centre d’artistes Voix Visuelle, which features contemporary Francophone art. Vanier Museopark offers a closer look at the area’s history, including maple syrup-making in the spring. Do a little shopping along Montreal Road or seasonally at Beechwood Market in Optimiste Park.
