At Chartwell Gibson, our focus is on independent living for seniors. An independent living lifestyle is ideal for active older adults who want to simplify and downsize while still enjoying their independence. Instead of dealing with grocery shopping, making meals, and home ownership and maintenance, choosing independent retirement living means you can opt for a social lifestyle where you spend time with the people and doing the activities you love while our team takes care of chores. Take advantage of tasty, nutritious meals three times a day and our planned social programs and activities as you wish. Of course, connecting informally is also easy when you live in a residence where everyone has reached a similar life stage, and shared amenity spaces are designed for socializing. With just 70 suites, we offer an inviting, homey atmosphere where you easily get to know your neighbours and our friendly staff.

Care Services available

Independent living at Chartwell Gibson includes flexible care services that you can personalize for your individual circumstances and preferences. Choose from a range of care services if needed, such as medication management or assistance with your morning or evening routine, right in the comfort and privacy of your own suite. Weekly housekeeping is included with your rent, and you can choose to add a variety of other paid services, including linen and towel service.
Additionally, you can change your services as you wish—for example, if you’re recovering from surgery or an illness, or if medical issues arise. We have a nurse on site for your support and peace of mind. Visiting health and wellness professionals you can opt to consult for an additional fee include an optometrist, physician, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, and audiology/hearing clinic. We are pleased to offer other services as well, like support groups, an audiology clinic, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy. At Chartwell Gibson, rest assured that our thoughtful and skilled staff partner with you to deliver customized care that suits your healthcare needs and priorities.
