At Chartwell Queen’s Square, we are a small, intimate residence with a close-knit community. You’ll notice it as soon as you walk through our doors, and our activity and social programming will have you feeling at home in no time.

Participate in our engaging activities

We are here to make your time as engaging and fun as possible. All of our recreational programming and social activities have been created to nourish you in every way: mind, body, and spirit. And yes, they’re always optional.

Looking for a good place to start? Our musically inclined residents love our live events, with gifted local singers and musicians frequently dropping by for shows. Or take part in a Rhythm ‘N’ Moves exercise class, our residents’ favourite way to stay fit, as instructors take you through a laughter- and music-filled routine. Try a painting class or a brain-sharpening FitMinds session, band together with like-minded volunteers to support a cause you love, or sit back and enjoy our engaging guest speaker series. We’ve even got a pool table—the perfect place to meet some new friends—and pet visits for our animal lovers!

If you’re looking to explore the region, you’ll love our regular day trips to local attractions, including Cambridge’s famous farmers’ market, museums, and other cultural destinations.

At Chartwell Queen’s Square, our bright, clean, and inviting residence has all the amenities you need to relax, grow, and connect. There’s our bustling dining room where you can enjoy a few laughs over a delicious meal. We have our activity room where you can play games with friends or work on a solo puzzle in peace. Our fitness room is where we conduct our many exercise classes, including chair yoga. Movie buffs will love our theatre where we screen the hits and classics with a side of popcorn. You’re welcome to connect with your spirituality in our chapel. And last but not least, our residents love the convenience of our on-site hair salon with skilled stylists at the ready!
