At Chartwell Allandale Station, you can keep in shape with our gentle exercise classes on the patio, or keep your bones strong with Osteo Fit. You’ll love our meditation classes to help clear your mind, and our yoga and Tai Chi classes to help keep you limber and strong.
We host gatherings and clubs for everyone, from trivia buffs to Scrabble fans, travel lovers to foodies. And pet lovers won’t want to miss our visits from companion dogs. Competitive? We have many options, from bridge and chess to bingo, Blackjack, and darts. Or keep your mind sharp doing a crossword or puzzle with a friend.
We also have regular bus outings to local restaurants, shops, and attractions in and around Barrie.

Looking for something a bit more low-key? Our fantastic library selection will have you reading a new favourite, and perhaps gathering with other residents to discuss your favourites. Visit our fitness room for a walk on the treadmill or a strengthening session, come for a swim in our heated saltwater pool, or explore our wonderfully landscaped grounds. We even have a shuffleboard and an indoor putting green.
Take in a hit TV show or classic film in our theatre room with a large projection screen and comfy chairs and sofas. While your suite comes equipped with a kitchenette, our cozy country kitchen is available to use to whip up your favourite holiday cookies or make a pie after we take a trip to a local orchard or fruit farm. Last but not least, we have a hair salon when you want to freshen up your look.
