At Chartwell Edgewater, we want your or a loved one’s dining experience to be delicious, wholesome, and social, no matter where you’re joining us for a meal at our retirement campus.

In our care residence, our residents enjoy a supportive dining experience that not only nourishes but provides opportunity for social interaction with friends, family, and staff. For individuals needing assistance, our Care Aides are there to encourage and foster independence, and we are proud to be able to cater to a range of individual dietary needs. You’ll find our daily selections of three wholesome, Dietician-approved meals celebrate seasonal variety, fresh ingredients, and from-scratch cooking for a delicious and nutritious dining experience.

In our independent living residence, envision yourself sitting down to a gourmet meal in our chic dining room or sipping a cocktail in the lounge, where our food and beverage team will strive to deliver a truly memorable experience. Join us for special themed nights and buffets throughout the year and—in the summer months—weekly barbeques on our spectacular outdoor terrace overlooking Long Lake. Friends and family are always welcome—in fact, they’re encouraged!

In addition to delicious daily features incorporating seasonal, fresh ingredients, independent living residents will be able to choose from popular favourites on our à la carte menu. Alongside our wholesome entrée options, you can expect a choice of daily, made-from-scratch soups, salads, a selection of fruit, and homemade desserts to complete your dining experience.

Our dining room servers look forward to seeing and interacting with you every day, as well as learning your dining preferences to make your experience special. Our Food Service Manager will often look for feedback and comments to make your dining room experience the best it can be. In fact, they’d love to chat with you to learn your dietary preferences and welcome you for a meal with us!
