Relax in serene outdoor spaces
There are an endless number of ways for you or a loved one to spend your time at Chartwell Carrington House, but one area of the retirement home that always attracts attention is our gorgeous outdoor space, including landscaped grounds, walking paths and a resident-driven community garden. We also recently updated our list of amenities to include a new movie theatre, arts and crafts room, and fitness facility.
However, it isn’t our building that makes us a special place to live, but our friendly staff who go above and beyond to make residents’ lives better and foster an inviting, supportive environment. We’re like one big family here, and it isn’t unusual to spot the General Manager having lunch with residents, or staff gathered around to watch a resident blow out birthday candles on a cake thoughtfully prepared by the food and beverage team.
The dining experience
At Chartwell Carrington House, we want your dining experience to be defined by good food and great service. That’s why we offer a diversified menu to make your life better, including delicious and wholesome chef-prepared meals in our well-appointed dining room. Dining times are flexible, and meals for guests are available. We also have a private dining room where you can gather with your family for catered meals.
Activities and amenities
Our independent living and assisted living retirement community is a welcoming, engaging place to call home not only because of our wonderful residents and staff, but the many optional activities, social events, and outings we have on offer. Consider joining us for fitness classes, gardening, an art group, cultural activities, guest speaker presentations, a game of billiards, bridge or hearts, a hobby group, or outings to shops, restaurants, or nearby Hatzic, Hayward and Silvermere Lakes.
