If you’d like to take the night off from cooking and dish clean up, you’re welcome to join us for a delicious and nutritious meal in our dining room. Would you appreciate being able to spend less time cleaning and doing laundry? We have housekeeping and personal laundry services you can take advantage of. And for your peace of mind, we also have staff on-site 24/7 and emergency response.
Your health and wellness are important to us too, which is why we provide access to a number of valuable services and visiting professionals on your very doorstep. That includes support services such as a blood pressure clinic, support groups, and a visiting podiatrist.

If you require additional support to lead each day in comfort and with peace of mind, our assisted living lifestyle can provide personalized support and care services tailored to your needs, with access to an on-site nurse and caring, long-standing staff. Ideal for seniors who are looking to downsize but want to maintain the independent lifestyle they’re accustomed to, Chartwell Birchwood’s beautiful seniors’ cottages include two spacious bedrooms, a full kitchen equipped with a fridge, stove and dishwasher, in-suite laundry facilities, and emergency response services. You'll also enjoy private parking, weekly housekeeping, landscaping for your lawn and gardens, and snow removal services during the winter months.
As our cottages are adjacent to our main retirement home, cottage residents can also take advantage of the lifestyle experiences and amenities offered there.
