Assisted Living (Continuing Care Home Type B)
Continuing Care Home Type B combines convenient retirement services with personalized care support. This subsidized lifestyle option is ideal for you or a loved one if you need significant help with your daily routine and customized services that can help maintain or improve your comfort and quality of life. We provide care services such as assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, vitals monitoring, an escort to meals and activities, and much more. Together, we will partner to build your individual care plan that meets your specific needs 24 hours a day.
Uniquely, Chartwell Eau Claire does not have dedicated floors for our assisted living residents, but designated suites throughout the building. This means total privacy in terms of the care you are receiving in your personal suite. Additionally, assisted living residents enjoy access to all amenities and activities offered in the residence, with multiple dining room options available for accessibility.
To qualify, Alberta Health Services authorizes and funds accommodations and care services for you or a loved one at our retirement residence. Care and services are exclusively provided by Chartwell staff.

Memory care (Continuing Care Home Type B Secure Space)
Memory care (Continuing Care Home Type B Secure Space) is a subsidized lifestyle option for seniors living with dementia. We provide WanderGuard technology for residents so they can safely live anywhere in the building, supporting their sense of freedom and independence. For individuals who require a more secure environment to support advanced stages of dementia, we also have a dedicated memory care floor with its own dining room.
Our caring and compassionate staff are trained in dementia support and help residents live each day in contentment and comfort. We offer a multitude of services to support our residents, including cueing and assistance with daily routines, bathing and showering assistance, an escort to meals and activities, and so much more.
