Our residence is a lively and vibrant place, with a full complement of activities and amenities that are inclusive of everyone. Our LiveNow life enrichment program includes many meaningful experiences, all of which are founded on the six dimensions of wellness—physical, social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and vocational. These are not “keeping busy” activities, but are purposefully designed to engage, inform, entertain, challenge or inspire you.
Residents at Chartwell Oak Park Terrace have many favourite activities, choosing from a long list that includes a wide range of fitness classes, such as gentle yoga, SMART exercise, and Tai chi. They are always up for learning something new in our FitMinds class, and are also committed to giving back to the Windsor community, volunteering through our H.O.P.E program. You’ll find them in more relaxing pursuits too, catching a classic flick in our movie theatre or strolling our walking path, or enjoying a wine-and-cheese afternoon.
Participate in our engaging activities
How would you like to plan your day at Chartwell Oak Park Terrace? Perhaps you’ll choose one of several fitness options, including Zumba Gold, or Rhythm N’ Moves classes. Or this afternoon, the garden club is meeting to talk about growing herbs. Bocce ball could be a fun thing to do too. Tomorrow there’s a picnic in Pillette Park, while on the weekend a group is going for lunch at the Wolfhead Distillery. As a person of faith, you haven’t forgotten about the upcoming rosary group either, or attending Sunday’s worship service. Regardless of your choice, you are in control of your schedule, doing as much, or as little as you like.

All of our amenity spaces at Chartwell Oak Park Terrace are designed to empower you to pursue the activities you love, and to connect with others in meaningful ways. Can you see yourself watching a movie on the large projection screen in our dedicated theatre? Or exploring your creative side in a craft class in the multi-functional room? Our lounge is the perfect place to sit by the fireplace, and our chapel gives our residents a special place to worship or reflect.
