At Chartwell St. Albert, our retirement home in St. Albert offers a number of funded and non-funded care options that can help support you or a loved one with what you need to live a comfortable and contented retirement. This includes lifestyle options like independent living, as well as funded care options through Alberta Health Services like Private Supportive Living—ideal for seniors who needs some extra daily assistance to live well—and Continuing Care Home Type B suites for seniors in need of 24-hour assisted living services.
Care Services available
Our independent living lifestyle at Chartwell St. Albert offers a variety of service options that can make your daily life better. If you’d like a night off from cooking and dish clean up, you’re welcome to join us for a delicious and nutritious chef-prepared meal in our dining room. Would you appreciate spending less time and energy on chores like cleaning and doing laundry? We have housekeeping and personal laundry services at the ready! For peace of mind, we also have staff on-site 24-7 and emergency response.
Your health and wellness are important to us too, which is why we provide a number of valuable services and visiting professionals on your very doorstep. That includes an audiology/hearing clinic, visiting physician, pharmacy, and on-site nurse.
Do you or a loved one need some extra daily support to live well? Funded by Alberta Health Services, our Private Supportive Living services entail personalized support and care tailored to your specific needs and preferences. Care services such as medication management and assistance with activities of daily living can be provided, and there is access to an on-site nurse too. Care and services are exclusively provided by Chartwell staff.
To qualify, an Alberta Health Services Case Manager completes an assessment, authorizes and schedules care for you or a loved one at our retirement residence. Additional care and services (scheduled or unscheduled) may be available and provided at an additional fee too.
Subsidized by Alberta Health Services, our Continuing Care Home Type B suites at Chartwell St. Albert combine convenient retirement services with personalized care support. This funded lifestyle option is ideal for seniors who need significant help with their daily routine and customized assisted living services that can help maintain or improve their comfort and quality of life. Care services may include assistance with activities of daily living, bathing or showering assistance, medication management, vitals monitoring, and much more.
