Our welcoming retirement residence showcases what retirement living can be: warm, fun, engaging, and active! We offer a selection of signature programs that promote the six dimensions of wellness for seniors—physical, social, emotional, intellectual, vocational, and spiritual—so that you or a loved one not only enjoy each day but bolster your overall health and happiness in the process. Everything is optional, so you can participate in whatever piques your curiosity. Also feel free to make a suggestion of an activity or outing to our life enrichment staff, who’d love to incorporate something that speaks to your interests and abilities.

How might you spend your day at Chartwell Park Place? Our Rhythm ‘N’ Moves exercise class is a fun way to work out (and a favourite among our residents), while our FitMinds program keeps your brain sharp through puzzles and games. Consider joining the glee club or taking in a movie in our theatre. We have cribbage, euchre, bingo and billiards, or join our Walking Club on a stroll around the neighbourhood. From Lemonade Socials and volunteering, to finding connections with other spiritually minded residents, our retirement home is filled with countless opportunities to learn, grow, and laugh together.

We even have a large auditorium that features a stage perfect for showcasing visiting entertainers, from brass bands to local dancers. We also have regular outings to local restaurants, shopping malls or heritage venues, and we’d love to have you join us for a special day trip to nearby attractions, too.

Our street-level patio right on Yonge Street is the perfect place to people-watch or explore our beautiful walking paths that wind through our landscaped grounds. Inside, we have a well-stocked library packed with best-sellers, and our movie room is the perfect spot to take in a blockbuster or TV show while enjoying a glass of wine. Our lounge, pub, and activity room are always buzzing with crafts, speakers, and performers. Be sure to meet other pool sharks at our billiards table.
