Our 11 spacious seniors’ townhouses—ranging in size from 977 to 1,009 square feet—feature two bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchens, and offer three different floor plans. These renovated, pet-friendly townhouses are also equipped with new, stainless-steel appliances, new countertops, modern lighting and flooring, an individual thermostat to control heating and air conditioning, and in-suite laundry. Additionally, each townhouses has a back patio and access to outdoor parking.

At Chartwell Chatsworth, we often ask ourselves what we can do to make life easier and more enjoyable for you. Our staff are here to provide as little or as much support as you’d like, with your flexible service package including weekly housekeeping and linen service, telephone, cable TV, and transportation services. Meal packages, hair salon services, newspaper delivery, personal laundry, and outdoor parking are available for an additional fee.

Here, you can choose to participate in a wide variety of optional activities, classes, talks, and outings offered at our residence to enrich your experience—from live entertainment and Happy Hour to book clubs, lunch outings, special speaker events, fitness classes, billiards and bocce ball, card games, and gardening. Our townhouse residents also love organizing their own lively gatherings! Furthermore, our wonderful on-site amenity spaces serve as an extension of your private accommodations, and include a well-equipped fitness room, putting green, arts and crafts studio, lounge and entertainment room with a grand piano, movie theatre, lovely outdoor patio and immaculate gardens, bistro, and many more places for casual socializing.

Finally, to enhance your sense of personal safety, we have staff on-site 24/7, external security cameras, and emergency response. There’s something undeniably comforting about living in a quiet, private setting with peers as your neighbours.

There is no minimum age requirement to call one of our townhouses home. You’ll find our residents are typically over the age of 65, however our age range can be quite broad as someone 90 years old may be just as active, healthy and independent as someone who is 70!

Yes! We encourage new residents to create a space that reflects their personality and style. Anything from your favourite chair, painting, cabinet or any other decor can help you feel comfortable and adjust quicker to your new home.
