Our friendly team arranges leisure activities that interest our residents. What kind of activities are available for you to choose from? Live music events are always popular, featuring talented visiting musicians representing any number of musical styles. There are senior fitness classes to help you stay healthy and active, as well as educational events with guest speakers to talk about a variety of interesting and informative topics. Or, you can try your hand at different projects in arts and crafts workshops.

The great hall at Chartwell Bankside is a newly renovated space at the heart of many of our social activities, so you can listen to music, visit with friends, and more in a comfortable setting with a welcoming atmosphere. Similarly, the bistro and patio have also been recently refreshed and updated, offering casual and attractive places to host a visitor, or read the newspaper over a drink and a snack. Look forward to film nights in our movie theatre, staying active in the fitness room, taking part in a service in the chapel, relaxing in the sunroom, or exploring your creativity in the well-equipped crafts room. Our residents also love our beautiful outdoor green space, with lots of opportunities for viewing birds and other wildlife. We even have our own koi pond!
Our seniors’ apartment building, separate from the main residence, also features a lounge on the main floor with a bistro area and a large-screen TV for relaxing and socializing, with a beautifully landscaped outdoor patio.
