Activities & Amenities at Chartwell Conservatory Pond in Kingston

Our residence is always humming with activity at Chartwell Conservatory Pond, from social gatherings to lively fitness classes to quiet games by the fire. Every month, we share our calendar of activities outlining what events are happening every day around the residence. We’d love for you to join us for whichever programs you find intriguing and appealing. If you need help finding groups or clubs to join, or activities you’d like to try, our staff is here to help!

Participate in our engaging activities

You’ll find something for everyone at our senior living home, whether you’re a social butterfly or a happy introvert. Play a game of pool or join us for our regular billiards nights. For exercise, we’d love to see you at our seated yoga classes, or work on mobility with our physio group. We also have an outdoor walking group for those looking for great conversation while on a stroll.

Java Music Club is one way for you to express and explore your spiritual side with other like-minded residents. If you’re looking for ways to make a positive impact, try our H.O.P.E. volunteer group.

From fun sing-alongs and the chance to learn some tech tools to all your favourite games, you’ll find lots to do and people who share your passions. Watch a documentary or feature film in our comfy screening room or listen to one of our educational guest speakers. We even have trivia nights, poetry readings and plenty of arts and craft classes to learn new skills.

Our games room is the perfect spot to tackle a puzzle or challenge someone to a game of Scrabble or billiards. Our library is a book-lover’s paradise with well-stocked shelves and cozy fire-side seating. Take a stroll on our walking paths or do some gardening in our landscaped green spaces.

We have a spacious exercise room, where you can participate in a fitness class or work out on your own. Or join us in our large, comfortable theatre room for a movie. Our on-site hair salon is the perfect place to get a little pampering, whether you’re looking for a quick trim or a fresh new look. Our residence also has a guest room available to rent if you’re looking to host family from out of town.
