Our residence has been designed for gathering, socializing, and boosting your well-being. No matter where your interests lie, we have activities, events, and workshops where you can take care of yourself in mind, body, and spirit, from physical activity and brain games to giving back to the community. The amenities at Chartwell Valley Vista allow you to enjoy all your favourite passions and pastimes right at the residence, from cooking in the country kitchen to prayer in our chapel.

Participate in our engaging activities

The recreational programs at Chartwell Valley Vista quickly help our new residents feel a part of the community. Our activity calendar changes every month so you can see what we’ve got planned and choose to attend anything you like—the choice to participate is always yours.

You’ll find everything from live performances by local entertainers to cultural events, including Italian music evenings and movie screenings. We love to play and have fun, so you’ll find lots of games from bocce and billiards to bingo and other card games. You can stay fit with group fitness classes too, like physiotherapy and gentle chair exercises, plus our Rhythm ‘N’ Moves class, a fun-filled way to get your body moving to music. We offer Catholic Mass on Saturdays and Sundays, and other ways to stay connected with fellow practicing residents throughout the week.

While your meals are taken care of in our dining room, we also have a communal country kitchen stocked with all the tools you need to make a favourite dish. Visit our bistro any time to help yourself to a freshly prepared snack and cup of coffee or tea. Our fitness room is well equipped for self-directed exercise, or you can join your neighbours for bocce in our yard. Gather in our theatre room to watch a classic Italian movie. If you’re seeking some quiet time, come visit our library or chapel anytime. We have a private dining room available to reserve, so you can celebrate family milestones together while we take care of all the work. Join us for bus trips to local shops to stock up on essentials or to visit local parks and cultural attractions.
