Choose from an assortment of leisure activities at Chartwell Hilldale. Stay active with a senior exercise class or take a seat in our comfortable common areas and enjoy a visiting entertainer or musical performance. How about learning a new craft or enhancing your existing expertise with a much-loved creative pastime? Our day trips bring everyone together aboard our shuttle bus for a morning or afternoon outing at one of Thunder Bay’s attractions, restaurants, scenic areas, shopping centres, or sporting events.

Saunas are part of Thunder Bay’s Finnish heritage, and we are the only retirement residence in the city with a sauna where you can relax and rejuvenate. Our TV room, deck, and garden are all inviting spaces to enjoy some downtime indoors and out. Meet a friend for a visit in our comfortable lounge or bistro, or retreat to the library with your newspaper.
