First, we offer independent living in your choice of retirement suites or prestige apartments, both with dining, housekeeping, optional lifestyle activities, and a range of flexible care services that can added to your package if desired. Second, we offer a dedicated Memory Living neighbourhood on a separate floor of our retirement community for seniors living with dementia and Alzheimer’s, providing a person-centred approach to memory care that can make your loved one’s life better.
Independent living
Care Services available
Independent living at Chartwell Guildwood offers you a bespoke senior living lifestyle that inspires you to focus on the pursuits, the passions, and the people you love the most. With your inclusive package, you’ll receive three delicious daily meals, weekly housekeeping, as well as a long list of optional life-enrichment activities and outings. Residents in our prestige apartments receive almost the same list of services, activities, and amenities, with the option to include up to three daily meals in their package.
Should you need support in the form of personal care services, you’ll have access to our optional Care Assist Program. This flexible program offers à la carte and all-inclusive care packages that can be added or removed as you need. We also offer CareRx Pharmacy, an on-site prescription management and dispensary program. Our on-site nurse gives you more peace-of-mind should you require medical attention.

Memory care
Memory Living at Chartwell Guildwood is a specialized care and support option designed for older adults living with dementia or Alzheimer’s. We have a designated secure neighbourhood on a separate floor of our community where residents live in spacious, well-designed studio suites with 24/7 staff supervision. Our caring and trained staff use a person-centred approach to memory care, where we focus on who a resident is and how we can support their experience with dementia, rather than focusing on the disease itself.
Additionally, our all-inclusive Memory Living packages include 24-hour security monitoring, health-care monitoring, in-suite medication administration, three delicious daily meals, 24-hour access to our self-serve hospitality area, weekly housekeeping and up to two loads of laundry per week, scheduled transportation for local outings, and dedicated recreation and leisure staff and services.
We’re here to help you or a loved one understand your options and which service level will be the right fit for you. Our Health & Wellness Manager will also conduct an assessment before you move in to ensure you’re receiving the right level of care for your unique needs and preferences.
