For seniors who would like the sound of a carefree lifestyle and may need support with daily living activities, we offer our independent living apartments.

Our senior rental apartments offer the ideal balance of a simplified, maintenance-free lifestyle with convenience and community. Think of it as apartment living, but with access to on-site amenities, recreational programming, and à la carte service options!
Our seniors’ apartments in Mississauga’s Meadowvale neighbourhood offer the fully independent lifestyle you desire. Our well-appointed one- and two-bedroom apartments feature full kitchens, patios or balconies, and contemporary finishes. In addition, you can benefit from monthly housekeeping, parking, transportation services, and staff on-site 24/7 for emergency support. Don’t feel like cooking and dishes? You’re also welcome to enjoy the flexibility of our dining room for chef-prepared meals and the company of others—the choice is yours!
Another benefit of calling one of our apartments home? If you need more support or care later in life, the ease of your transition into our independent living lifestyle will be even more seamless.

Care Services available
Seniors who select our independent living apartments at Chartwell Heritage Glen are active and engaged and like the peace of mind of being able to create an individualized care plan. We can assist you with everything from oxygen service and medication management to assistance with bathing or showering or companionship. You simply select the services you’d like to have so you can go comfortably about your day and we’ll add it to your plan. Staff are available around the clock, and your suite has a call-bell system so you can easily reach us if you need help.
You can also access wellness services through our trusted partners, including an on-site mobility clinic, visiting physician, and pharmacy services, which makes it easy for you to effectively manage your prescriptions.
Your apartment includes a full kitchen, but you can easily opt into a meal plan if you’d rather leave the cooking to us. You’ll also receive monthly housekeeping service.
We’re here to help you or a loved one understand your options and which service level will be the right fit for you. Our Health & Wellness Manager will also conduct an assessment before you move in to ensure you’re receiving the right level of care for your unique needs and preferences.
