On this day, we reflected on the past year and celebrated the tremendous efforts and dedication of our people. We are grateful that our homes have been prioritized in the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccine. Although vaccinations in Canada have been lagging behind those in other developed countries, recently the pace has accelerated particularly for prioritized seniors in LTC homes and Retirement Residences. We are beginning to see the positive effects of the vaccinations as evidenced in the rapidly declining number of outbreaks in our homes and the lower number of resident and staff cases.
